The Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office has pointed out in his report to the judge of the National Court that instructs the Koldo case what should be asked Supreme Court to investigate the former minister José Luis Ábalos because “it is difficult to understand the operation carried out by Koldo García – former advisor to the former minister – and Víctor de Aldama – the alleged achiever of the plot – without the participation” of the person who was also Secretary of Organization of the PSOE.
This is stated in the report of the Public Ministry in which it is also specified that from what has been instructed so far it is clear that the awards to Soluciones de Gestión, the company linked to the alleged plot, took place thanks to the fact that their offers were “designated from the highest level of the Ministry”as stated by the undersecretary of that ministerial portfolio, José Manuel Gómez García, before the court.
The prosecutor adds that this is also established in the audit report prepared at the request of the current Minister of Transport, Oscar Puentewhich indicated that “the proposal came from the highest level of the Ministry.” “Designation that is not understood to have only been endorsed by the personal advisor of the minister, someone who in the ministerial organizational chart was on a step lower than the undersecretary and without any executive capacity,” he explains.
Anticorruption considers that in light of the profit obtained by De Aldama thanks to these contracts, “this privileged information and the assurance of the contract with Management Solutions, entails putting into value the personal and direct relationship that he maintained at that time with Koldo García and, therefore, with the former minister himself.”
