According to the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Seyassah, quoting security sources, the State Security Service arrested a group collaborating with Hezbollah, on charges of recruiting young people to work with the party in Syria and Yemen.
The sources told the newspaper that the Ministry of Interior had received a security report from a sister country stating that the group consisted of four people, one of whom is the son of a former MP, another is the brother of a former MP, and a third whose name has been mentioned in previous cases since the hijacking of the Jabriya plane in the eighties, and a fourth is said to be a senior man. She explained that the State Security Agency is investigating the four, who are “HG, JC, JJ, JD”, on a number of charges as well, including money laundering for “Hezbollah” in Kuwait, and financing Kuwaiti youth to encourage them to join the terrorist group.
