Mexico City.- The president of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador named Raquel Buenrostrodirector of the Tax Administration Service (SAT), as the new economy secretaryafter Tatiana Clouthier left the position free.
At the start of La Mañanera this October 7, AMLO revealed the change in his cabinet, acknowledging the work of Rachel against the SAT, which has been considered as good to be in front of the Ministry of Economy.
“I have already made the decision to appoint Raquel Buenrostro as Secretary of the Economy, who now serves as director of the SAT, because she has done a very good job, because the collection has not decreased, and she is an exemplary public servant, we trust her, and she is going to be the next Secretary of Economy”, highlighted the Chief Executive.
Andrés Manuel highlighted that Raquel Buenrostro She has a degree in mathematics from UNAM and has a master’s degree in economics, for which she considered she is suitable for the position vacated by Tatiana Clouthier.
Tatiana’s resignation
In La Mañanera on October 6, 2022, AMLO assured that they insisted Tatiana Clouthier to continue as head of the Ministry of Economy, but in the same way they respect his decision.
“We respect her decision, we insist that she stay but she is a woman with convictions with criteria and has made this decision to leave the Ministry of Economy,” AMLO said about Tatiana Clouthier.
