AMLO acknowledges the mistake of inviting Lilly Téllez to the 4T, his “most furious adversary”

Mexico City.- The president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador assured that It was a mistake to have invited Lilly Téllez to the so-called Fourth Transformationa movement by Morena that led her to occupy a seat in the Senate.

In his morning lecture, AMLO told how he invited Lilly Téllez to Morenaacknowledging that it was her idea to do so, acknowledging this as a mistake, since the Sonoran woman became one of her main political adversaries.

“And I tell Alfonso Durazo, I tell him: ‘hey, if you are going to invite people,’ look how bad I am, ‘if you are going to invite people from civil society, why don’t you invite them to participate, it will help you because is a citizen, to Lilly Téllez’. I was responsible for that,” said the federal president.

By acknowledging the integration of Lilly Téllez to the 4T as his authorship, Andrés Manuel indicated that he was not ashamed or felt sorry for the mistake made.

“It is that mistakes are made, many, there is no one who says that they do not make mistakes. But you also don’t have to feel bad because you act in good faith, ”he asserted.

“I remember that when I said that to Alfonso (Durazo), he was surprised and he is quite conciliatory, but there I beat him, that is the story. And then the lady (Lilly Téllez) triumphs and without doing anything to her, nothing, she becomes my most furious adversary, who is the one who says that if she becomes president, she is going to put me in jail ”.
