Mexico.- The journalist Carlos Loret de Mola pointed out that the alleged alliance between AMLO and organized crime is increasingly evidentand warned that they are trying to “defend the seat” of the presidency of Mexico.
In her opinion column published on Thursday, August 25, 2022, Loret de Mola compared the expressions that Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador used against opponents and critics of 4T, in contrast to the way he refers to drug traffickers, as “Mr. Guzman Loera” Y “Mr. Caro Quintero“.
“There are already too many signs of the electoral-financial alliance of organized crime groups with President López Obrador“Loret de Mola warned about AMLO.
He stressed that the first “suspicion” about the links between the narco and López Obrador arose in the 2021 electionswhen Morena and her allies lost their majority in Congress but swept the governorships of all the states of the Pacific corridor.
“They documented uprisings orchestrated by drug traffickers against political operators of Morena’s rivals“said the journalist.
Added to this are the recent events that have occurred in the country and have fueled “suspicion in public opinion” about an alliance between AMLO and organized crime, according to the columnist.
It’s about the violent acts registered in various states, such as Jalisco, Guanajuato, Chihuahua and Baja Californiawhere there was drug blockades, cars and businesses set on fireand even direct attacks against civilians.
All this in the midst of the controversy over the announcement of the president about a decree so that the National Guard is under the control of the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena). “Attacks arose in the country that would seem to highlight the state of war that requires the military to lead“, he stressed.
Secondly, the fact that in these violent days the stores of the chain Oxxo were a recurring target of drug traffickers. In this regard, Loret stressed that the owner of Oxxo, from Grupo FEMSA, “is one of the few businessmen critical of the president’s management“.

“The perception that in a strategic alliance, they are trying to defend the most important of all positions: the Presidency of the Republic, is worrying. They are not going to take them away in 2024,” said Loret de Mola.
