Ciudad Juarez.- Thanks to the coordinated investigative work of agents from the Municipal Public Security Secretariat and elements of the FEM, Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Crimes Against Women, they managed to locate and capture the alleged person responsible for the murder of Lizeth Abril BV, 14 years old, who disappeared in recent days. The man placed under arrest identified himself as Armando LC, for the commission of the crime of disobedience and resistance of private individuals, for further investigation.
Municipal elements of the Investigation Directorate and elements of the Valle District who were commissioned to deal with the case of the missing minor in collaboration with the state investigative authority, managed to locate the address where the alleged perpetrator lived, in addition to finding the body of the victim buried in the yard of the home and under a cement slab, this at the intersection of Pípila and Cristóbal Colón streets in the Zaragoza neighborhood.
Municipal police arrested the man who identified himself as Armando LC, 70 years old. After reading his rights, he was taken to the University District and later transferred to the FEM facilities.
The girl was later handed over to the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Crimes Against Women for further investigation, while forensic specialists in coordination with elements of the Municipal Security Secretariat rescued the young girl’s body to transfer it to the SEMEFO.
