The Olympic candle returns from Friday to Marina Rubicón, with the Fifth edition of the Lanzarote International Regattaa test that was born in the middle of the pandemic and that has managed to consolidate as the opening appointment of the athlend of athletes from all over the world. In this edition they compete up to four Olympic classes -49er, 470 mixed, Ilca 6 and Ilca 7- and, as a novelty, there will also be a place for the light candle, with the snipe as a guest class.
Class 49er It will be the first to go on stage, giving the starting gun to this fifth edition. The 49er regattas will begin tomorrow Saturday 15 and will end on Tuesday 18, with the first champions of the Lanzarote International Regatta in the new Olympic cycle.
With crews from Greece, Holland, the United States and the Netherlands, the Spaniards of the pre -Olympic team Martín and Jaime Wizner (Galicia), Conrad Konitzer (Baleares) and Antonio Torrado (Valencian Community) and Pol Marsans (Catalonia) and Pablo Llorens ( Galicia).
