Unveiled from the new one Alfa Romeo Milan, the new B-segment SUV from the Arese brand which makes its world premiere in the Milanese city. Compact, electric and also hybrid, the new high-wheeled car from Biscione opens the doors to the full electric world for the first time for the premium car manufacturer from Stellantis. We had the opportunity to see the new arrival from Arese up close and after telling you what it looks like in person, here are 5 things to know about the new Alfa Romeo Milano.
1. Sporty design
The new Alfa Romeo Milano Milano boasts a dynamic and sporty design. The front is particularly expressive, with the new interpretation of the “Progresso” shield characterizing it and the full LED Matrix headlights with a 3+3 motif that stand out on its sides. At the rear, the lights embrace the entire tail with the Alfa Romeo lettering and an overhang with the spoiler which makes the car even sportier.
2. Electric and hybrid
Biscione's third SUV will be the first to be completely electric, with a powertrain available with two power levels: a 156 C engine and a more powerful 240 HP version, both combined with a 54 kWh battery.
3. The small Alfa Romeo Milano
4.17 meters long and with its truncated tail, the Milano is the most compact of the Biscione cars. A few centimeters larger than the MiTo, which was 4.06 meters long, the new Alfa Romeo SUV sits at the base of the Arese car manufacturer's range, bringing the brand back into the B segment.
4. Technological and refined
The interiors of the new Alfa Romeo Milano express the sportiness of this car as well as a particular search for details. The horizontal dashboard has on its sides the vents of the circulating ventilation system with the four-leaf clover motif inside, behind the steering wheel there is the characteristic telescope which begins the 10.25″ digital instrument panel, same size as the screen touch of the driver-oriented infotainment system.
5. First Speciale and then the rest of the range
It will be available with both a hybrid engine and an electric powertrain in a 156 HP configuration. From a stylistic point of view we find the reinterpretation of the “Progresso” shield, the matte sports finishes on the lower part of the doors and the new 18″ “Petali” alloy wheels. In the passenger compartment, however, there are new seats with electric controls and a massaging function for the driver and the “Spiga” finishes in vinyl and fabric. Also available are 8-theme ambient lighting, the ADAS package with level 2 autonomous driving, the hands-free electric tailgate and the keyless system. On the electric version we then find the 11 kW three-phase on-board charger.
