The new Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce will fit a new one for the first time sports electric motor and it will be the first electric sports car in Alfa Romeo history. This innovative engine will probably also be adopted by the group’s new sports EV models, such as the Abarth 600e and the Lancia Ypsilon HF. It will be a model that should respond well to the needs of motorists, lovers of sporty driving, given that the Alfa Romeo development team contributed to the Veloce project, the same one that worked on the 4C and 8C, on the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio, to the Giulia GTA and who is currently busy with the 33 Road. Development tests to fine-tune software and various calibrations will be carried out on Balocco track.

The Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce, fully electric with 280 HP and 340 Nm of torque, has been developed to offer an increasingly engaging driving experience. Steering is more direct and precise with a ratio of 14.6while the structure is lowered by 25 mm with front and rear anti-roll bars calibrated for greater driving precision on mixed terrain and between bends.
The fast Junior will have exceptional braking in all conditions, even at the limit given that, in addition to regenerative braking, it can count on a braking system mechanical enhanced with front discs from ben 380 mm and 4-piston monobloc calipers. The price of the Veloce, the sportier version of the Junior arriving by the end of 2024, not yet made official, could be around 48/49,000 euros.
