Radamel Falcao García has yet to score a goal for Millonarios, the team he is a self-confessed fan of. And now he could be exposed to an injury that would take him off the roster for several games.
According to the criteria of
Falcao started as a starter in the match against Tolima, but was replaced for the second half by Leonardo Castro. The decision to leave was due to a medical issue, according to Daniela Caro, a journalist from Win Sports.
The medical team’s version is that Falcao suffered a blow to his hand in the first half and that is why he did not continue playing. In the next few hours he will undergo tests to rule out a fissure or fracture.
Falcao has played four games with Millonarios, including the one on Friday. He started three of them and came off the bench in the other, against Medellín away.
Coach Alberto Gamero was also forced to replace Andrés Llinás, who suffered a cut to the head after colliding with his teammate Delvin Alfonzo. Sergio Mosquera came on in his place.
