The 2022-I League is already history for Millionaires. The team did not close the semi-final home run well and completed five dates without winning after losing this Wednesday 2-1 against Atlético Bucaramanga, at the Alfonso López stadium.
Alberto Gamero, the Millonarios coach, will continue to lead the team. He is already beginning to think about the second semester and putting together his planning to try, once again, to look for the star, in the fifth league in which he will be in charge of the team.
Millionaires would have at least three more reinforcements
Millonarios has already confirmed Luis Carlos Ruiz, a 35-year-old striker from Cortuluá, as his first contract. But he wants to reinforce himself better.

“We already have Luis Carlos Ruiz, he is already totally with the team, he arrives the other week, and We are going to look for two or three more players with a profile that is similar to what we are doing. We have an armed, mechanized team, and we need some players who come to contribute and make a difference to have that title that we long for so much”, said Gamero.
The DT already begins to think about the preseason. “According to what we have planned, today (Wednesday) we travel to Bogotá. The team goes on vacation for a week and we will meet in Bogotá on Thursday to start the preseason, the idea is until the 26th to find a place where we are all together, where we can train with the reinforcements that are going to arrive. To be there from the 26th to the 2nd, a week before the start of the tournament”, he affirmed.
For now, Millonarios is not expected to travel abroad for a match, as it did a year ago, when it faced Everton from England and Nacional in the Florida Cup.. “There are no confirmed matches, there is a possibility of Orlando, it is not confirmed, but if not, play matches against teams that are in Bogotá,” he explained.

Gamero again lamented the lack of definition
Gamero lamented that the lack of a goal played against them again in the last game of the season. “What happened today (Wednesday) happened to us in many games. We faced a good team like Bucaramanga, we played it hand in hand, as Millonarios has always done during the time I’m here, we went out to look for the match hand in hand. At times, we controlled Bucaramanga by taking the ball away from them. This game is a snapshot of many games before, where we arrived and arrived and didn’t score, it was enough for one, but we were able to score two other options.”
