The State Meteorology Agency (Aemet) plans this Monday that the Peninsula remains in an Atlantic flow that will bring cloudy skies to the northern peninsular half and weak rains, less likely in the northeast peninsular. They will be in the form of snow in mountains of the northern third with the level above 1600 meters. In the rest of the Peninsula and in the Balearic Islands, high clouds with low cloud intervals and some drizzle in the Strait.
In the Canary Islands little cloudy skies are expected with weak rainfall in the islands with the highest relief, in addition to a weak calima. Possible mists and morning fog banks in large areas of the Atlantic aspect, which will be thick on the northern plateau.
On the other hand, Aemet announces that the maximum temperatures will increase in the north of the Peninsula, while in the rest of the territory there will be no significant changes. The minimums will increase in the peninsula almost generalized, locally notable in Pyrenees, without changes in Galicia and the archipelagos.
Frosts will continue to retreat and affect mountainous areas of the northeast, locally moderate in Pyrenees and without ruling them into other mountain systems.
Loose winds of variable direction are expected in the peninsular interior with a predominance of the southern component, and moderate in the coastlines, of the East in the Cantabrian, narrow and Alborán and del Sur in Galicia and in the Mediterranean. In the Canary Islands they will blow the East, tending to moderate Alisios in the Eastern Islands.
