Motorist ran into a child crossing the crosswalk on a bicycle in Saarenkylä in Rovaniemi, says the Lapland Police Department.
The accident happened on Tuesday afternoon after two o’clock. A school-aged child was crossing the road at the intersection of Myllymäentie and Kylätie when a driver in a white station wagon hit him.
The driver helped the child and the bicycle damaged in the collision home.
Police ask the driver to report to the police.
