The championship competitions will be held under the slogan “A dream for every champion … a home for the world” from 3-11 November, with the participation of 2,000 male and female players from 65 countries around the world, to compete for one of the most important international jiu-jitsu titles, starting from Abu Dhabi, which has become an essential station for all Professional Jiu-Jitsu professionals looking to achieve an exceptional career and global stardom in the sport.
The federation organizes a series of the world’s largest jiu-jitsu tournaments in November, consolidating the emirate’s position as a true home of jiu-jitsu and a pioneer for game development and decision-making. Perhaps the great support that sports receives from the wise leadership, and the tireless efforts of the Emirates Jujitsu Federation have contributed to transforming Abu Dhabi into one of the most important regional and international destinations for hosting major events.
Jiu-jitsu lovers will be on a date with enjoying a whole month of competitions. With the end of the world championship competitions on November 11, the date is renewed with the thirteenth edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, the most important and largest event on the global jiu-jitsu calendar, organized by the Jiu-Jitsu Federation and the participation of Over 4,000 athletes from 90 countries from 14-19 November.
Commenting on the preparations to host the tournament in November, Fahd Ali Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation, said: The return of the World Championship to Abu Dhabi represents an important achievement that joins the country’s record of achievements with the unlimited support of the wise leadership.
We are fully prepared to welcome our guests from all over the world and host them in their second country in an atmosphere of love, tolerance and hospitality. Meanwhile, Montenegro’s Stefan Korovic confirmed his qualification to participate in the World Championships as a champion for his country.
He said, “I am looking forward to a strong and honorable performance that will lead me to the crown.” I will do my best to win one of the colored medals, and it will be an achievement if another taste is achieved because in Abu Dhabi, the home of champion athletes and their window to fame and prestigious international reputation.
