This Wednesday (22), Renault announced that it will prepare a special edition of the Sandero RS 2.0, which will be discontinued. The model will stop being produced and marketed in Brazil due to the new emission standard that will take effect from January 2022.
The automaker will manufacture the last 100 units of the car with a special kit, which will be called “RS Finale” and will feature a cap, squeeze keychain and wallet. In addition, owners will receive a numbered metal plate that can be affixed to the center console.

“The Sandero RS 2.0 is an iconic car for Renault do Brasil and has a legion of passionate fans for the model. Therefore, we prepared a special farewell to close the production cycle of the sports car”, says Bruno Hohmann, commercial vice-president of Renault do Brasil, in a statement.
The vehicle was launched on the market in 2015 and over the years had more than 4,600 units produced and limited series, such as the Racing Spirit, launched in 2017 and manufactured in Paraná.
