It is one of the humanitarian initiatives that distinguishes our country, especially after the great success of the campaigns launched by His Highness in recent years, the most recent of which was “Stop One Billion Meals.”
Sustainability of reward
On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah extended his congratulations to the wise leadership represented by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him.” God,” and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, Chief of the Presidential Office, and their brothers, Their Highnesses, Members of the Supreme Council of the Federation, Rulers of the Emirates, the people of the Emirates, the Islamic nation, and the entire human family.
He added that the endowment in language means confinement, and they are two synonymous terms used by the jurists to express one meaning, and it is applied to what is endowment, and it is said, “This is the endowment of so-and-so, meaning the endowment entities,” and it is a verb in the sense of an object, like “woven,” meaning “woven,” and it is applied to the source, which is “giving.” His Excellency explained that the scholars defined endowment with multiple definitions. All of them are due to the confinement of the root and the giving of the fruit, that is, putting it in the path of God, and the path of God is all aspects of goodness and righteousness, and it is the closest definition to the hadith narrated by Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, when he consulted him about his charity: “If you wish, you can withhold its origin and give it in charity,” as in Al-Bukhari, and in the narration of Al-Nasa’i in his Sunan, Al-Daraqutni, and Al-Bayhaqi: “Withhold its origin and the ways of its fruit,” and from here arose the institution of endowments with all its types and multiple purposes, which was and still is a unique model in the continuation of benefit and giving, and sustainability. Reward and reward.” His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah pointed out that the endowment is a great institution in which the wisdom of this eternal divine law is evident in establishing the foundations of cooperation between members of society and caring for the poor and needy even before they exist. In this world, it is an asset for future generations, and for those who endow it is an ongoing charity, the reward of which is paid to them. Its reserves are stored up for them, and that is the sustainability of the benefit. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, called it “ongoing charity,” as it was stated in the authentic hadith: “If the son of Adam dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that benefits him, and a righteous child who prays for him.” Narrated by Muslim. He said that one of the characteristics of the endowment is the perpetuation of the property and the disbursement of the proceeds to charitable purposes specified by the endowment. For this purpose, endowments have been surrounded by many provisions that can be considered as protection and activation of the endowment and care for the people to whom it is endowed. He noted that types of kindness have a special rank and greater merit in the blessed month of Ramadan, the month of mercy, compassion, giving, and giving. And solidarity, and this is an example of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was the most generous of people in doing good, and he was the most generous in the month of Ramadan, as in the hadith of Ibn Abbas, and that there is a great reward and great blessing in endowment, especially in the season of goodness. And the habitat of blessing is the blessed month of Ramadan.” His Excellency stated that the “Mother’s Endowment” campaign is an innovative initiative and a distinguished project among the projects of our country, the United Arab Emirates, which is invented every year by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, so may God reward him well and reward him abundantly for this initiative. He pointed out This initiative is to endow the revenue to educate poor students, both male and female, and to disburse wages to mothers. This endowment for mothers has its origin in the hadith of Saad bin Ubadah, the great companion, the master of the Ansar, that his mother died, so he said: O Messenger of God, my mother has died, should I give charity on her behalf? He said: Yes. He said: Which charity is better? He said: Irrigating water. That is Saad’s water supply in Medina.
He added that honoring one’s parents is one of the most obligatory duties in religion, whether that is during their lifetime or after their death, and in the Holy Qur’an, “And We have enjoined on mankind regarding his parents; My destination.” In the previous verse, God Almighty singled out the mother for mention. It was also mentioned in the hadith that “A man came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: O Messenger of God, who is the most deserving of my good companions?” He said: Your mother. He said: Then who? He said: Then your mother. He said: Then who? He said: : “Then your mother.” He said: “Then who?” He said: “Then your father.” Islam urged them to be honorable and reward them in life with good treatment, and after their death with supplication and charity.
His Excellency pointed out that this campaign combines types of goodness in honoring mothers, and spending the proceeds of the endowment for education, especially for educating the poor around the world who will benefit from it by learning useful knowledge in their religion and world, or mastering skills that will benefit them in their livelihood, and raise them to the ranks of producers and creators who serve. Their communities and countries. His Excellency emphasized that the disbursement of the endowment is determined by the donor, and the basis of the reward is the intention, as in the hadith, “Actions are but by intentions, and every person will have but what he intended.” He called on business owners and companies, and the general community, to participate and contribute in donating to this endowment, seeking the pleasure of God and hoping for His reward, hoping that it will be An ongoing charity for His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and for everyone who participates in this endowment with little or no money, and a permanent reward for mothers in the country, God willing. We pray to God for our wise leadership to be rewarded and rewarded, and for our country to continue stability and prosperity on the path of growth and development.
