Ciudad Juarez.- The Mexican Red Cross based in Ciudad Juárez invited the population to join the Red Cross Youth program.
The purpose is to carry out interventions in favor of the community, as well as workshops, camps, local and national events and meetings, as well as visits, excursions, get-togethers, recreation and many games.
Ari Centurión, coordinator of the program, said that topics will be addressed on first aid, health and hygiene, prevention, risk reduction, preparation and intervention in disasters, environment and climate change, as well as road safety, sexual health, mental health, personality development, tolerance, human relations, leadership, among others.
“The Red Cross protects, helps and through it, you can change the world of many people who need us by providing help in community interventions, disasters, special services and social work with girls, boys, youth, older adults, groups and communities that require your help and who suffer abandonment, who have some disability or are in unfavorable situations,” said Centurión.
The new generation will start on September 21 at the Red Cross facilities, at 4324 Henry Dunant Street, Pronaf area, in the La Plata Condominium.
“The Red Cross Youth is the largest humanitarian organization in Mexico, where you will acquire a lot of knowledge and skills that will be useful in your daily and professional life. The training will give you the necessary tools to transmit your knowledge to others, lead a group, plan, organize and direct diverse activities,” said the interviewee.
