In Moscow, a 40-year-old local resident will go to trial for stealing a bag and 43 thousand rubles from a medical worker on a commuter train. Lenta.ru was informed about this by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to law enforcement officials, the robbery took place on an electric train traveling between Podolsk and Nakhabino. One of the passengers found a bag on the seat, the owner of which was not nearby. Then the attacker took it and got off at Tekstilshchiki station. It later turned out that the owner of the bag was a medical worker. At that moment, he walked away from his seat to another passenger who felt unwell. The total amount of damage caused was more than 43 thousand rubles. The victim contacted the police. Law enforcement officers identified the robber. He turned out to be a 40-year-old Muscovite.
He was detained in the courtyard of his house. The police found the stolen bag and returned it to the victim. The robber did not have the stolen money on him. It was established that he managed to spend it. A criminal case has been initiated against the attacker under the article of theft. The investigation into the case has been completed. All materials have been submitted to the court.
