A 48-year-old man died this Monday being hit by a truck while changing the tire on his car on the A-7 highway as it passes through Puerto Lumbreras, in Murcia. According to sources from the Emergency Coordination Center, the man had parked his vehicle on the shoulder of the road.
At around 6:32 p.m., the 112 has received several calls alerting about the incident. To the place members of the Civil Traffic Guard and health workers have been deployed in an ambulance from the Emergency Management and Health Emergencies 061, which confirmed the death.
The accident has caused retentions between kilometers 646 and 647 in an increasing direction towards Almería, according to the website of the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT).
