Ciudad Juarez.- The body of a person wrapped in blankets was found inside an abandoned van.
The discovery was made by residents of Julio Acosta and Enrique Hernández Campos streets in the Revolución Mexicana neighborhood.
They said that a Jeep Patriot truck had been spotted there since Wednesday morning, and that it was still there on Thursday and began to emit foul odors.
When municipal agents arrived, they found the body of a person wrapped in a blanket with red, blue, black and white stripes in the back.
This is the fifth murder today and the 16th intentional homicide of the current month.
