The supercar they are usually cars destined for sporadic use, e they rarely exceed certain mileage. Much more likely to see a sedan or any SUV beyond the hundred thousand kilometer mark, no doubt. Sometimes, however, even limited edition cars manage to have a life full of journeys and long distances to cover. A specific case comes from the world of social media, e it’s about a Ferrari Enzo capable of over 90,000 milesor approximately 145,000 kilometers.
Let’s talk about Robert Losee’s Ferrari MM Enzo, whose acronym stands for ‘Most Miles‘. Losee’s goal has always been to drive a great deal of miles in this car, and to get there he has also lent the car to automotive magazines and friends. However, the relationship between him and this Ferrari has not always been smooth sailing.
In 2006, in fact, Losee remedied serious injuries (he recovered only after more than a year of treatment) due to an accident in Utah. The car went off the track at almost 300 kilometers per hour, in a stretch of road that had been closed for a demonstration, and was essentially destroyed in the impactor. Once back in strength, Losee decided to have the car rebuilt. With the help of Ferrari North Americathe Enzo was restored after a good 30 months of work, even with the addition of a brand new turbo capable of bringing the power to 800 horsepower.
Losee in 2010 reached a certified speed of 318 kilometers per hour, in the natural theater of the Bonneville salt desert. Once you have shown his exceptional speed skills, the car embarked on a quieter career, populating social networks with its itineraries. The Instagram user dryl8k got the car by helping to reach its current mileage, and now the bar is moving higher and higher. Who knows, it could become the most used Ferrari ever.
