Auctions Bolaffi will be giving away some interesting vintage cars in a specific auction that will be organized in Turin, in via Egeo 18, on December 11, 2021. The cars will be on display from Tuesday 7 to Friday 10 December, from 10.00 to 19.00, and Saturday 11 December from 9.00.
They will be offered predominantly classic Italian cars, plus a couple of Lamborghini tractors (from the sixties) and even to a crawler. There will be a very rare one Moretti 750 Tour de Monde from 1959, red with cream interior and valued between 33 and 40 thousand euros; a Lancia Beta Coupé 2000 Volumex; a Fiat Cinquecento Gr. A 1997 official with 98 horses and one as well Fiat 500 R., turquoise, with Lander Graziella 300 following.
Among the peculiarities there is also a 1968 Fiat 500 Scoiattolo, red, with an estimated value of between 2000 and 8000 euros. Not to mention the Pininfarina Spidereuropa, sister of the Fiat 124 Sport, of the Innocenti Mini Turbo De Tomaso (with Daihatsu engine) and the ‘suv’ Rayton Fissore Magnum. There are several so-called ‘barn find’, or cars with missing parts and to be completely restored.
One of the gems is the lot related to ALCA Fox, minicar that today is worth over 28,000 euros. It is a car presented in March 1947 in Rome by the newly formed Anonima Lombarda Cabotaggio Aereo as an economical alternative to the Fiat Topolino. It can be considered the first “bubble car”. The company was accused of fraudulent bankruptcy in 1948 and the few assembled cars were withdrawn from a car junkyard in Piacenza. Some of these were bought by private individuals who adapted Vespe or Lambrette engines and used them without registering them. Although the car for sale lacks the engine, it is still a very rare vehicle, because it is not known how many units were produced, and there is even less information on those that still exist.
As for foreign cars, they stand out Alpine GTA Turbo Europa Cup, Bmw 700 coupe (with some rust to scrape off), Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet. There is also a very elegant Mercedes-Benz 220 S from 1961. With a value of over 65 thousand euros, a Volkswagen T1 Kombi from 1967 is also offered. And for jazz lovers, there is also a Morgan 4/4 Sports. Special imported in Italy by Carletto Loffredo. In total, more than 60 lots will be available: the catalog can be downloaded here.
