The Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, stated this Wednesday that the video of a meeting in Paiporta (Valencia) in which she appeared to be having a tense conversation in a garage with neighbors affected by DANA is “it’s biased, it’s manipulated“.
This was stated by Robles in the Government control session in Congress, in response to the PP spokesperson, Miguel Tellado. The ‘popular’ has urged him to apologize to those affected by the storm, after a video spread on social networks showed her in a garage explaining to several neighbors when it would be possible for the mud to be cleaned.
Tellado has stressed that the PP has criticized the former third vice president and minister for the Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, because “she did not even pass through Valencia, being the main person responsible for the overflowing ravine.” However, has considered that the head of Defense “has gone further.”

“He went to Valencia to shout at people who had lost everything, to ignore her responsibility as a minister and blame the mayors,” she recriminated. “Was this embarrassment really necessary? You have even surpassed the one who said ‘if they want help, ask for it,'” Tellado said.
