Juan Carlos Monederoone of the founders of Podemos, has attacked the PSOE for the latest controversies that surround it and has vindicated the work that the purple party carried out when it “set the course” in the Government.
“I hear the noise of the fight in Spain, and what one understands from a distance is that since the PSOE lost the direction that Podemos had set for it, it has been walking around like a headless chicken and the ‘and you more’ has returned to Spain, right prior to the popular uprising of 15-M. When Podemos set the course for the PSOE, Spain was a much more decent country“, he stated in a video shared on his X account.
Thus, Monedero says “both the PSOE and the PP” have returned to the dynamic of launching “corruption cases” at each other and that it is clear that “There are characters” that both formations “exchange”. “It happened with [el comisario] Villarejo and it happens now with Aldamawhich is a type that is typical of sewers. What is a character like this doing collaborating with the PSOE? The underlying discourse is that [el partido] ends up falling back into their old behaviors,” he says.
At this point, the former leader of Podemos refers to the case of Juan Lobatowho this Wednesday resigned as general secretary of the PSOE-M after a confrontation with Ferraz and whom he also called “useless.”
“It seems that they gave him a comb so that he could step on it and he would be the one to bear the responsibility. [de sacar a relucir los correos entre la defensa de la pareja de Isabel Díaz Ayuso y la Fiscalía, como le pidió supuestamente la Moncloa]. If he published it, they would kill two birds with one stone: they would kill a rather useless general secretary of Madrid and, on the other hand, they would hit [a Ayuso]”.
Finally, Monedero has pointed out that “the PSOE is suffering with the case of Begoña Gómezwith Aldama’s attacks without evidence, with the attempt to destroy the attorney general” and that this “damn disaster” is his fault because “he has not known how to put a stop to a PP that will never respect the rules of democracy when it is outside the Government.”
