The Professional Association of the Judiciary (APM), the majority in the judicial career, has managed to maintain its leadership in the government chambers of the Supreme Court, the National Court and the Superior Courts of Justice (TSJ) by taking over the 52.11% of places.
The APM has obtained enough votes to obtain 61 members in the halls of government, the same number that it achieved in the 2019 elections.
It is followed by Francisco de Vitoria Judicial Association (AJFV)which this year has won two more places than in previous elections; that is, 30, 25.64% of the total. It is the only association that grows in these elections.
Independent Judicial Forum (IFJ) has received support to maintain 13 members, which translates into 11.1%. Non-members, for their part, have managed to go from 9 to 11 members in the government chambers, 9.4% of the total.
AND Judges for Democracy (JJpD) It has obtained 3 places (one less than in the previous elections) and has kept 2.56% of the total.
By courts
In the Supreme Court, the APM has obtained 3 representatives, Antonio del Moral, Ignacio Sancho and Esperanza Córdoba, while the AJFV and the non-associated members have obtained one each, Sebastián Moralo and Pablo Lucas, respectively.
In the National Court, the three names chosen are from the majority association: judges Ana Isabel Martín Valero, Ana María Sangüesa Cabezudo and Manuel Fernández-Lomana García have gathered the greatest number of supports with 40, 40 and 39 votes respectively.
In the TSJ, the APM has obtained all the places in Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, Valencian Community, Galicia and Madrid. The AJFV has done the same in Canary Islands, Cantabria and Murcia. FJI, for its part, has taken over 100% of the places in Aragon.
In the rest of the higher courts, there has been distribution. In Asturias The APM has achieved two members, the AJFV one and the JJpD another. In Balearics There have been two places for the majority and one for Francisco de Vitoria. In Castile and León non-members have led (with 6 places); It is followed by the APM with 4, the AJFV with 3 and the FJI with 1.
In Cataloniathe supports have been distributed in 4 for the ‘vitorinos’, 2 for the APM and one for FJI. In Estremadura There have been 4 from Francisco de Vitoria and one non-associated. In RiojaFJI, the non-associated members, JJpD and the APM have each obtained one place.
In Navarre3 places have been awarded to FJI and one to a non-member; while in the Basque Country There have been 3 for the APM and one for the other three associations.
