Valencia still needs help. Next week will mark one month since DANA devastated the Huerta Sur region and caused more than 200 victims, but the entire country remains dedicated to those affected. In this context, the organization Expert Minds celebrates a charity event this Monday to raise funds.
The central event is a conference offered by Gustavo Zerbino. This Uruguayan businessman, lecturer and sports leader is one of the famous survivors of the plane crash in the Andes of 1972.
Zerbino will be in person in Valencia to offer a motivational talk for DANA victims. As Pedro Cornejo, co-founder of Mentes Expertas, explains, it was Zerbino himself who He offered to give his talk in Valencia.
“Gustavo understands the feelings of the Valencian people,” says Cornejo, who adds that “when the survivors of the Andes learned on the radio that they were presumed dead, they had to start working as a team.” Therefore, he explains, “The objective is to send a message of hope.”
The message that Zerbino is going to convey, adds Cornejo, is that the moment of looking for culprits will come “later” and what we have to do is work together to get out of the crisis as soon as possible.
The event will be held at the Olympia theater in the Valencian capital, this Monday starting at 5:00 p.m. Anyone who wants to attend can do so. through this linkwith part of the tickets at zero euros. What is raised with the rest of the tickets will go to benefit those affected by DANA.
Furthermore, Gustavo Zerbino’s conference can be followed in streaming for everyone. For more information you can visit the website www.mentesexpertas.com.
