The rescue teams working to search for those missing by DANA in the town of Riba-red They have located the body of a new victim of the catastrophe. According to sources from the Civil Guard, the body has been found by the Reserve and Security Group (GRS) in the Poyo ravine and the Special Mountain Intervention Rescue Group (GREIM) has collaborated in the recovery of the body.
Subsequently, the victim was transferred to the Institute of Legal Medicine of Valencia to perform an autopsy and be able to identify it by DNA or fingerprints.
This finding raises the number of fatalities to 219 in the province of Valencia due to the DANA on October 29, while the number of missing persons remains at 13, according to the latest official balance of the Data Integration Center (CID), waiting to confirm the identity of the last victim.
On the other hand, of the 218 identifications of the deceased, 169 have been produced thanks to the fingerprint analysis and 45 for DNAwhile four cases correspond to hospital identification while alive.
