This feature also accompanies the new version of iOS. Thus, Gemini is capable of managing YouTube, Google Maps, Gmail, Calendar on the iPhone and integrating their functions into a single conversation.
Which iPhones are compatible with the new Gemini for iOS
Unlike Apple Intelligence, which is only capable of running on the iPhone 15 Pro and the new iPhone 16 range, the new Gemini for iOS is prepared to run on Apple devices with an A14 microprocessor or higher (that is, in iPhone 12 and later). In addition, it does not require the latest version of the operating system, as it can be installed with iOS 16, 17 and 18. The only requirement is to have an active Google account with which the service will be registered.
Gemini can run on more basic devices than Apple Intelligence requires because it performs important operations in the cloud. On the other hand, the native AI application for iPhone has the philosophy of carrying out most processes locally.
