The State Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, has asked the Supreme Court to summon him to testify as a witness to the chief of staff of the Presidency of the Community of MadridMiguel Ángel Rodríguez, in the case in which he is being investigated for the alleged revelation of secrets attributed to him by Alberto González Amador, partner of the president of the region, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
The head of the Public Ministry – through the State Attorney’s Office – requests the court to call Rodríguez to appear, considering that there are “indications” that had access to part of the emails that were leaked in which it appears that González Amador’s defense proposed a pact to the Prosecutor’s Office for alleged tax crimes.
The State Attorney’s Office has also requested that they testify as witnesses the journalists who published the night and morning of March 14 the content of the emails in which the defense of businessman Alberto González Amador – Ayuso’s boyfriend – was reported, as reported by RTVE, which cites legal sources.
The president’s chief of staff was quick to respond to García Ortiz’s request. He has done it through his X profile (formerly Twitter): «Attorney General: if you call me to testify, you are going to go ahead!!!».
