The Extremaduran Health Services (SES) has reported three first positive results after studying 24 contacts of the CEIP Youth of Badajoz with a case of tuberculosis.
Thus, the SES has reported that it has carried out a study on 24 contacts of the center after receiving the Health Directorate of the Badajoz Area on November 5 a notification from a private clinic in the city about a case of tuberculosis related to this school.
«So far, the results indicate that three of them have obtained a first positive result“, sources from the Ministry of Health and Social Services have indicated to Europa Press, along with that “currently, they are waiting for the results of complementary tests to confirm if they have the disease.”
On November 5, the SES, through the Health Directorate of the Badajoz Area, contacted the school management and communicated the measures to be carried out“informing both the parents of the students involved and the teachers at the center,” conclude the same sources.
