Help rebuild the areas affected in Valencia by DANA. This is the main objective before the Government of Aragon, various entities and economic and social agents have come together in order to channel donations through a solidarity platform.
The solidarity platform takes shape through the agreement which was signed today between the Aragonese Executive, the Ibercaja Banking Foundation, the Ibercaja Sostenible Foundation, Ibercaja Gestión, Ibercaja Pensión, the Aragonese Federation of Municipalities, Counties and Provinces, the Aragonese Council of Chambers of Commerce, CEOE, Cepyme, CCOO, UGT and Red Cross.
Donations collected through this platform may be private and corporate donations. The entire amount will be allocated to different reconstruction projects in Valencia, but also to help rebuild the business and labor fabric For which there will be coordination with specialist entities in the territory, especially SMEs, micro-SMEs and the self-employed to help preserve employment.

At the signing of the agreement, the president of the Government of Aragon, Jorge Azcón, explained that “efforts will continue to be allocated to the most immediate aid”, although he will also “look at the long term and think about the future. This The action plan will also help companies restore their facilities so that the self-employed can resume their activity and the different businesses can raise their blinds again and so that no worker loses his job“.
Collection of products and solidarity gala for DANA
In addition to this platform, other actions are being carried out in the Aragonese community to help in the areas affected by DANA. It is the case of the collection of food and material started by the Zaragoza City Council and El Refugiowhich concluded today with a total of 390,000 kilos of material heading to Valencia. This Wednesday alone, 90,000 kilos of material have been reached.
For six days, all the products that are going to be sent to the Valencia Military Emergency Unit have been collected, with the help of 250 volunteers municipal bodies, among which were also members of social entities or neighborhood associations. There is collaboration with several companies such as Racing to store and transport the merchandise to Valencia, saica, Aragonese pallet Arapal and Amber Beers for the delivery of pallets.
The Zaragoza City Council is also undertaking other actions such as Solidarity Musical Galawhich will take place this Sunday, November 10to raise funds for DANA victims.
The Gala will be held from 6:00 p.m. at the Prince Philip pavilionunder the motto “Zaragoza sounds for Valencia” will collect funds for the Valencian district of La Torre.
Tickets cost 15 euros and will allow you to see the performances of around a thirty artists among which are Modelo, El Momo, Idoipe, Gabriel Sopeña, Carmen París, Corita Viamonte, La Chata Flores, Daniel Zueras, Ariadna Redondo, Nacho del Río or Circle of Trust, among others.
