In 1974 the Franco regime was dying and the democratic opposition was preparing to access the institutions. The alternative was reform or breakup. In the history of Spain, the unity of the left has not had a happy ending. But there has been unity and the negative aspects of history do not have to be repeated, despite the call from interested spokespeople, arguing that evils will occur again if the right does not govern. The left remains divided and in the worst of cases, opposed. The left has to question power, without forgetting that the objective of political action consists of the transformation of unjust reality and the function of ideas and principles in being loaded with reasons. Together against the enemy.

Faced with this, left-wing parties have been characterized by marking their differences. In itself it is not negative, if it aims to strengthen the debates and find, through reason, the ideas that lead to overcoming the situation of injustice that the working class endures, but it is undeniable that this disunity causes the right to remain in the power and achieve their goals.
