Specifically, the Aemet has raised the warning to red this Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:59 p.m. in part of the province of Almería due to “extreme risk due to rain”, specifically in the Levante, Valle del Almanzora and Los Vélez areas. , and Birth and Field of Tabernas, in which a total of 60 liters per square meter is expected in one hour. According to the website of the State Meteorological Agency, the yellow warning is also activated in the area of Poniente and Almería Capital, due to “risk” of rains and storms in which an accumulated precipitation in one hour of 20 liters per square meter is expected.
Likewise, the coastal phenomena for this Sunday remain with a yellow warning on the entire coast of Cádiz, as well as in the Poniente area of Almería and the Granada coast. The alert will affect, in Cádiz, the Cadiz coast and the Straituntil 5:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. In both areas there is a forecast of easterly winds between 50 and 61 kilometers per hour, west of Tarifa and in the Trafalgar area out to sea. The risk of yellow level due to waves will remain in force throughout the day in the areas of Poniente and Almería capital and coast of Granada, with wind from the east and northeast at intervals of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour, and waves of two to three meters.
