Almost all of Spain is under the effects of a DANA (Isolated Depression at High Levels) that is already leaving heavy rainfall and large accumulations of water in several territories.
Among the most affected we find a large part of the province of Valencia and Malaga, which for almost all of last Tuesday, October 29, remained in red notice and extreme danger due to floodingas indicated by the Aemet (State Meteorological Agency) through its social networks.

Among several of the consequences due to accumulations of water and flooding in these areas, yesterday the derailment of a Malaga-Madrid AVE train occurred, specifically in the Malaga town of Álora, due to heavy rains. Luckily no injuries were reported nor personal injuries despite the accident.
The skies continue to leave heavy rainfall and storms in different parts of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands this Wednesday, however, the red warning level will no longer be present in the indicated provinces. Yes there will be an orange level due to rains in areas like the coast of Tarragona and Barcelona, Albarracín, the Serranía de Cuenca, Maestrazgo and the north of the province of Valencia.
The yellow notices Due to rain, they are located in parts of Andalusia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalonia, the Foral Community of Navarra, La Rioja, the Valencian Community and Ceuta.

Looking ahead to Thursday, October 30, Aemet predicts “that the Peninsula will continue under the influence of low pressure, with abundant cloudiness and precipitation in the southwest quadrant, west of Castilla y León, south of Galicia, north of the Balearic Islands, Catalonia and Castellónwithout ruling out less intensely in the rest of the Valencian Community, the Balearic Islands, Galicia and Andalusia, as well as in Aragon and Navarra. There is a probability that they will become locally strong and/or persistent in western Andalusia, Alborán, west of the Central system and around the lower Ebro, where they are expected to be stormy as well as around the Gulf of Cádiz. In the Canary Islands, slightly cloudy skies will predominate, although without ruling out some occasional precipitation in La Palma.
Thermometer status
If we look at the temperatures, the maximum tend to go down in the Pyrenees, the Balearic Islands, the south of Galicia and the west of both plateaus, rising in Andalusia, the Cantabrian Sea, the east of Catalonia and a large area of the Ebro-Iberian system.
The minimums will increase in Andalusia, west of the Southern plateau, the Basque Country and Navarra, tending to descend in the rest of the northern half of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands. In the rest of the territory, few changes are expected, although there may be not very intense frosts in the Pyrenees and Sierra Nevada.
