Over the next few weeks, the Polanco City Council will execute a new plan for paving roads and paths to improve the road safety of vehicles and pedestrians in various parts of the municipality.
This is a plan carried out through the Departments of Works and Neighborhoodsin which it is planned to install speed reducing elementsknown as ‘lomos de burro’, at points on municipal roads where residents have complained about the passage of vehicles without respecting the limits. The performances, which exceed twenty, have a budget exceeds 15,000 euroswith which the paved and potholes will be eliminated on nearly 1,200 square meters of roads, which will help increase safety for both vehicles and pedestrians.
This will eliminate a large pothole existing in the Quintana neighborhood but it will also act in other areas of Mijares, Rinconeda, Mar or Posadilloactions that join those carried out in previous months to renew the network of municipal roads and highways.
