Many exits from Red Bull F1
The prophecy expressed a few months ago by Jos Verstappen It seems to be coming true. Promotion for Hannah Schmitz?
Substitutes that, in fact, certainly don’t sound like improvised replacements. To the technical reorganization of Red Bull announced in recent days, in fact, the promotion of Hannah Schmitz will probably be addedthe English engineer considered by many to be the architect of some of the most important recent victories of the Milton Keynes team (one above all, the strategic masterpiece of the 2022 Monaco GP). “The exits? It is a physiological evolution – said Marko in a long interview granted to Motorsport-Total – because when you are so successful then people leave. But there’s already someone with us who can take that role and that person is Hannah Schmitz”.
Only Verstappen is indispensable
Despite the exits, according to Marko there is only one person who is absolutely essential for future successes, Max Verstappen: “What we offered Will Courtenay didn’t interest him, then he received an offer for the role of sporting director and it was something more attractive for him, also on an economic level. But it’s clear that we now need to make sure we can win the world championship this year, and build a fast car for next year. But the most important thing of all is that we can keep Max Verstappen with us”.
