General Alaudinov stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have up to four brigades at their disposal
Deputy Chief of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, commander of the special forces “Akhmat” Major General Apti Alaudinov revealed the remaining resources of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and told what will be the final part of the special military operation (SMO).
The serviceman noted that the Ukrainian side has a certain amount of resources left and the Russian Armed Forces are recording them. He also drew attention to the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffer large losses of equipment and personnel every day, which is why they will “soon get tired.”
We know that they still have up to four brigades and, as they say, equipment for these brigades too.
According to him, the Russian army is watching how and where the Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel will be deployed. The destruction of these reserves, as well as the advancement of Russian troops to tactical positions acceptable to Moscow, Alaudinov believes, will be the final part of the special operation. “I think we will ultimately complete the SVO on this note,” he concluded.
Alaudinov named the decisive battle within the SVO
This is not Alaudinov’s first statement about the end of the SVO. Earlier, the major general admitted that the conflict in Ukraine could be resolved by the end of 2024. In his opinion, this will be facilitated by the decisive battle that is currently taking place between the Russian and Ukrainian sides in the Kursk region. He explained that the Ukrainian Armed Forces transferred combat-ready units to the border area and as a result, their front line crumbled, while the Russian army is advancing.
He also noted that it is necessary to put an end to this in such a way that Russia can achieve its original goals.
At the same time, the commander of the special forces “Akhmat” later stated that Russia “has already won in the SVO”. Alaudinov explained that the victory took place “if we realize, understand that we are truly brothers and sisters, that we have a common homeland” and that we can survive if we stand shoulder to shoulder.
Later, the Kremlin commented on Alaudinov’s position. The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, responded that the country still has a lot to do to achieve this goal. He also noted that Russia does not set specific deadlines for completing the special operation, but agreed that “better faster than slower.”
