Strategic agreement signed between Ecomotive Solutions (Holdim Group) and Isotta Fraschini Motori, a historic Italian company part of the Fincantieri group specialized in the motor sector for the development of internal combustion engines and biofuels. The two companies announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will take place on September 12, 2024, during the third edition of the Hydrogen-Expo fair in Piacenza.
The agreement on biofuels and engines
This moment marks the beginning of a collaborative path between the two companies: by combining Ecomotive’s innovative skills in the development of advanced technologies for the use of renewable fuels, with Isotta Fraschini’s long tradition and experience, the partners intend to confirm their efforts towards a balanced and progressive transition towards Net Zero. The agreement will allow Ecomotive to access Isotta Fraschini engine bases for its own developments, with the aim of creating flexible solutions, capable of operating with a variety of bio-fuels and renewable energy vectors, such as green hydrogen. Isotta Fraschini will thus continue its program of technological renewal and green sustainability, benefiting from the activities developed in parallel by Ecomotive.
