What Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is about
There official description reads, in translation: “In a world where alchemy has become taboo and considered evil, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land follows the adventures of Yumia Liessfeldt and her companions as they seek to uncover the truth behind the fall of the Aladis Empire – which once thrived on alchemy – and the memories of its lost history. Yumia’s search takes her across a ruined continent, and despite the uncertainty of confronting her own past, she must forge her own path if she hopes to unravel the mysteries behind the cataclysm that destroyed Aladis.”
The description of the hero instead, she explains that “due to an accident during her childhood, she lost her mother and learned that she was an alchemist. To discover the truth about her mother’s intentions and the forbidden art of alchemy, she joins the Aladiss research group. She takes her mother’s words to heart: ‘Learn to judge for yourself what is right.'”
