Valorant is now available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S: once the beta phase was over, Riot didn’t want to wait any longer and proceeded with the surprise launch on Sony and Microsoft consoles, confirmed by the spectacular cinematic trailer that you can see below.
This is the first title for PlayStation and Xbox equipped with Riot live servicesconfirming the desire to bring to these platforms the authentic experience of this competitive shooter, the same one that PC users have had available for years.
Precisely in order to preserve the quality of the experience and its delicate balance, the developers have decided to do not include crossplay functionality between PC and consoleswhile updates will be rolled out simultaneously.

On the occasion of the launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, we interviewed the game director of Valorant to find out the genesis and evolution of this ambitious projectwhich starting today will aim to expand its user base.
“During the limited access beta we received lots of very valuable feedbackand we believe we can deliver our signature gameplay to console players,” said Arnar Gylfason, Valorant’s production director, in a press release.
“Whether it’s landing the perfect shot, executing a great team play, or blowing away the opposition, we can’t wait to bring console players the same emotions as Valorant for PC“, Gylfason concluded.
Valorant can be downloaded starting today, for free, from PlayStation Store or from Xbox Store.
