A new evolution of the Trident
There super sporty branded Maserati will be presented on the occasion of the Monterey Car Weekscheduled in California from 14th to 19th August. The car was designed in Italy, directly by Maserati and takes advantage of the Trident’s experience with the GT2 by further evolving the MC20, the latest two-seater from the Modena brand powered by the V6 Nettuno, the six-cylinder engineered and developed in Viale Ciro Menotti. The project MC20 represents the State of the art Maserati performance. From the very beginning of the technical development, a racing evolution was foreseen that would take place in two directions, with the track version and its road counterpart, developed in close synergy by the same team that shares technological know-how and some specific components.

During the world preview of the new Maserati, scheduled for August 16, there will be John PerosinoChief Marketing and Communications Officer of the brand, e Klaus BusseMaserati Head of Design. Also present at The Quail will be MC20 Icon and MCXtrema. MC20 Icona, a special series produced in a limited edition and inspired by the 2004 MC12 Stradale, was presented in June 2024 and will be shown live to the North American public for the first time. MCXtrema, unveiled in 2023 at The Quail, is the most formidable racing Maserati, approved for track use only: dedicated to the excellence of gentleman drivers and racing car enthusiasts, it was produced in just 62 units, the first of which will be delivered to the Laguna Seca Circuit on the occasion of Monterey Car Week 2024.
