Paris, France.- Alegna González became the second Mexican to secure a spot for our country at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Today, she took part in the women’s Olympic race walking competition, completing the top 5 in the 20-kilometre race.

The Chihuahua native was not happy with her participation, as she made the trip to Paris to get a medal for Mexico in her second Olympic Games.
Perhaps she was not among the winners in the women’s category, but she is aiming for her revenge in the competition that will debut at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games… Mixed relay race walking marathon, alongside Ever Palma.
“I don’t know how to describe how I feel. I tried to give my best during the competition, but I didn’t achieve the goal I wanted. Boy, did I try during the race. I didn’t give up at any point. I tried to live every kilometer,” she said after the end of her competition.
“I don’t want to leave the Olympic Games without achieving my goal. I don’t feel sad, but I do feel angry because I came with a very clear goal,” said Alegna González.
Her second participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be on August 7.
