Suda51 absolutely wants to bring his games to Nintendo Switch 2: the famous Japanese game designer declared this during an interview with VGC, saying that he was enthusiastic about the idea of being able to work on the new console.
Suda specified that he has no idea what this platform will be likeand therefore to be genuinely curious both as a developer and as a player, given the extraordinary success achieved by Nintendo Switch.
“Like everyone, I have no idea what they will come up with, but I really can’t wait to find out, and I say this both as a player and as a developer”, explained the game director. “Nintendo Switch is a fantastic platform, very successful, and I find it difficult to find fault with it; also because has done great things, particularly for the indie scene.”
A die-hard fan
As you may recall, Nintendo revealed that it will be talking about Switch 2 in the second half of this year, and Goichi Suda can’t wait for that moment to arriveso strong is his passion for the productions of the Kyoto house.
“I think the Switch is a wonderful console, not only for gamers of all genres but also for developers of all genres, especially indie ones. I still think so now and I don’t think there’s anything in particular that I would want to find on the next model.”
