Mexico City.– After the announcement that they will promote the approval of the reform of the Judiciary starting next September, the virtual president, Claudia Sheinbaum, asked national and foreign investors not to worry about investing in Mexico.
In his first conference at his halfway house, he assured them that their investments in the country are safe, as long as they are made within the framework of the laws, because in Mexico there will continue to be the rule of law.
“My message is: investors have nothing to worry about. Mexico is a rule of law, it is a sovereign state. In the Fourth Transformation we seek more and more justice in all senses: social justice, environmental justice, justice for women, a justice system that works, then foreign and national investors have nothing to worry about, their investments are safe in Mexico within the framework, obviously, of our laws,” he indicated.
Sheinbaum pointed out that a reform of the Judiciary will allow us to build a better justice system for the country.
He recalled that investments did not stop even when Fobaproa was approved and things were done outside the margin of the law.
“In Mexico there will continue to be the rule of law because before, we mentioned it, but the truth is that investments did not stop when there was Fobaproa, perhaps because of the economic crisis that arose, and there things were done outside the legal margin “he asserted.
Likewise, he proposed carrying out a survey to find out the people’s opinion about the PJ.
“That is why I say that we must understand the reform, I believe that everyone in this country, if you do a survey, in fact, I am going to propose a survey of what the people of Mexico think about the Judiciary, what is their opinion “, said.
Likewise, he reported that starting this weekend he will accompany President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on his planned tour of the north of the country.
“He will probably invite me on car tours, we are looking at logistics… I will be able to inform you starting tomorrow, we are going to have a meeting with the president’s team and he has an agenda to inform you what it will be like,” he commented.
