At the Ubisoft Forward in June the French company revealed Year 117: Pax Romanascheduled for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S which will be available in 2025.
The trailer is actually a small live action presentation of a speaker who prepares the various regions of the Roman Empire for the arrival of a new governor, that is, us players. This doesn’t tell us much about the game, but luckily Ubisoft has given some additional details verbally.

There official description reads: “It is the year 117 AD, as the Roman governor of the Empire’s twin provinces, your choices matter to your citizens. Build, trade, expand. Seize opportunities and take advantage of the unique advantages and challenges that the provinces of Albion and Latium present. Let’s see in 2025, governor. You decide the cost of peace.”
Ubisoft then explains that we will be able to decide in which region of the initial Roman empirebetween Albion – the far north of the empire – and Latium – the most historic area of the empire -.
Finally, it is explained that the June 18th there will be a live broadcast dedicated to Year 117: Pax Romana.
