New faces in Chivas? These are the young people that Fernando Gago considers for the Apertura 2024

The commitment of the Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara, compared to the Mexican soccer player, is perhaps even stronger than that of the National Soccer Team itself. And, unlike the tricolor, the Sacred Flock cannot take advantage of the naturalized elements, since it goes against a tradition that made them great at their birth and that now complicates them more and more.

They are both only eighteen years old and play as goalkeepers. Position that currently belongs to ‘Tala’ Rángel, but with the departure of ‘Wacho’ Jiménez, whoever wins the dispute would automatically become Chivas’ second goalkeeper.

He is twenty-one years old and plays as a central defender. He has experience in teams like Morelia, Mazatlán, Puebla and even Cruz Azul, in lower divisions, of course. He was recently signed by Tapatío, to cover defensive needs.

At twenty years old, the Hidrorayos del Necaxa youth player plays as an offensive midfielder on the right wing. His technical gestures and midfield-forward qualities caught the attention of Fernando Gago, who will try to give him a place in the first team next semester.
