On the occasion of the PC Gaming Show 2024 Striden was announced, an online PvP survival shooter set in the Scandinavian peninsula during the Cold War. That is, during an alternative version of the same one in which the conflict actually occurred, leading to the evacuation of the most important cities. It was developed by 5 Fortress and will arrive in Early Access in the coming months and from tomorrow you can play the demo.
Demo available starting tomorrow
At the event it was released a trailer which shows the wild fights between the players, as well as some natural dangers such as large bears.
Players will then have to plunder the few resources available, build shelters and manage to send a radio signal for help to arrive. The player’s team consists of 5 people and must compete against other teams. The objective is to collect 15,000 points and be the first to activate the aforementioned radio transmitter, which will cause a rescue helicopter to arrive.
