Finally a worthy use for the Sony viewer
Although it is a device with unquestionable qualities, it is undeniable that there is a bit of noise among the public regarding Sony’s commitment to enhancing its spectacular viewer PS VR2 (purchasable from GameStop, at this link), which since last year has allowed many players to live a truly engaging VR experience without the compromises of the first release.
However, the success of certain products is dictated by software, and those have struggled a bit to emerge and make a difference. For this reason, PlayStation has decided to expand the user base and the number of titles it can offer its players, creating an adapter that will allow you to use the PS VR2 on PC to take advantage of your Steam library.
The move, however curious, is the most sensible one could have imagined to keep interest in the peripheral alive and at the same time move with even more conviction on the PC market, which has now become the final destination also for the exclusives once reserved for console.
The adapter to use PS VR2 on PC it will be available starting from August 7 and will be sold at selected retailers and on PlayStation Direct at the recommended price of €59.99.
Players will also need a compatible DisplayPort cable (sold separately). DisplayPort 1.4a Steam account and a PC that meets the minimum requirements below:
