Verona, five Moroccan irregulars accused of torture arrested: search for sixth man

There Police carried out a raid on Verona, five non-EU citizens were arrested, while one managed to escape and is wanted. They all are Moroccans homeless ed irregularwith criminal record behind. The charges against them are serious: torture, aggravated robbery, aggravated bodily harm and deformation of the person’s appearance through permanent facial injuries. Following the searches connected to the executions, they were found and seized large sums of cash. Scenes from “A Clockwork Orange”, the victim, a twenty-six year old of Moroccan origins, was the protagonist, last May 19th, of the vain attempt to rescue of a boy of Somali nationality who ended up in the canal Camuzzoni and who is still missing.

The young man remained for this rescue attempt victim of an ambush organized against him by six of his compatriots who surprised him at night, in his sleep, in the abandoned building in which he was sleeping: without giving him time to realize what was happening and after having it rendered helpless tying him hands and feetthey lashed out at him with sticks and bottles injuring him seriously, even causing him one permanent facial deformation. Before the young man managed to escape, they robbed him of his smartphone and 400 euros. A friend of the victim was also intercepted by the same group: they have him surrounded, attacked and robbed of his cell phone and the money he had.
