Genoa – Thirty-six new cases of swine fever African were accepted between Piedmont and Liguria by the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Piedmont, Liguria and Valle D’Aosta. Of these 34 were found in Liguria where the positives are now 909 and two in Piedmont where the positives have risen to 658 in Piedmont. Overall, 1,567 cases have been detected.
The thirty-four Ligurian cases have been detected all in the province of Genoa: three in Bargagli (eighteen cases since the beginning of the emergency), twenty in Genoa (two hundred and eight), one in Lumarzo (eighteen), one in San Colombano Certenoli (two), one in Sori (first case), eight in Uscio (twenty seven).
THE two Piedmontese cases they were all found in the province of Alessandria: one in Terzo (two), one in Tortona (six). With the case of Sori, the number of municipalities in which at least one positive case of African swine fever has been observed rises to 152.
